Featuring groundbreaking special effects, the film follows the increasingly demented Jack Griffin (Rains) on his murderous rampage through an English village as he searches for the cure for his invisibility. The police, Griffin's girlfriend (Gloria Stuart), and his fellow scientists race to capture the Invisible Man before he kills again - and before he realises his goal of world domination.
