Cookstown Chicks is a small home business run by Dana and Tim. We hatch and raise our own specialty rare poultry, from our own stock of healthy, well looked after chickens. We treat them like they are our babies … because they are !
Our chicks are treated like family. They are extremely well taken care of, we do this for the fun and enjoyment it brings us, not as a chick production mill. We stand behind everything we sell.
Cookstown Chicks hatches and raises rare and specialty chickens. We have Polish Chickens as our main breed.
UPDATE: We are now incubating Polish and Svarthona Eggs. Unfortunately by the time we have chicks and chickens available, it will likely be fall 2026. Please be patient.
The Svarthona are new to us and we hope to be breeding many of these rare birds in the future.
