 You can still hear the high-pitched cry – “Oh no, Mr. Bill!” Sure, it has been 40 years since Mr. Bill debuted as a feature “player” on Saturday Night Live, but this brand of outrageous and silly humour is still alive and well today! The premise was simple – take a simple, Technicolour, bendable doll and smash him in humorous ways.
His arch enemies Mr. Hands and Sluggo were always in cahoots, and this parody character of children’s Claymation shows gained a loyal following that lasted for decades.
Now, you can order your very own Oh No Mr. Bill Flexible Figure that harkens back to mid-70’s SNL days and even comes with a retro colour card with vintage graphics.
