The Metal Men were created in the laboratory of the brilliant Dr. Will Magnus, who fitted his robots with the revolutionary Responsometer, which gave them human emotions. The properties of the elements played a large role in "The Metal Men" comic books. This set of full-color, hand-painted figures includes the good Doctor, the brilliant Gold, the powerful Iron, the hot-headed Mercury, the shy Tin, the dull-witted Lead, and the vivacious Platinum. Because these figures are done to scale relative to each other, they range in size form 2.25" to 4" tall.
